Voivod Confirm Supports For 35th Anniversary Tour

The two-decade wait is almost over for Voivod fans, and the sci-fi thrash metal prog-punks have today unveiled the support acts for their Australian tour.

The Canadian band will play four headline shows across the country to celebrate 35 years, bringing with them their latest studio LP, The Wake, and a stack of hits off seminal albums Killing Technology, Dimension Hatröss and more.

Wartooth and Asylum will kick off proceedings in Brisbane, while Contrive score a support slot in Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney.

Lucifungus will open in Canberra, El Colosso and In Malice’s Wake will open in Melbourne and Head In A Jar and Carbon Black will get things rolling in Sydney.
