As well as performances from Deafheaven, Ta-Ku, Hiatus Kaiyote...

It's time once again for world-renowned Vivid Sydney to impress folks with their explosive program of music, art, light and ideas line-up. As usual, Destination NSW and the NSW Government have not let us down — this year's festival will run for longer than ever at 23 nights and feature amazing performances from English synth rockers New Order and indie folk gods Bon Iver.

Bjork will deliver the world premiere of Bjork Digital, a new virtual reality project from the avant-garde queen where she'll DJ and curate the exhibition as part of Vivid Music, but Vivid LIVE's line-up this year is stunning — it features performances from New Order, the Sydney exclusive show from Bon Iver presenting Cercle, jazz act Esperenza Spalding, a multimedia show from Anohni, San Francisco band Deafheaven, Future Classic presenting Ta-Ku and WafiaHiatus Kaiyote with Sampa The Great and many more.

With the festival running from 27 May to 18 June this year, Vivid Sydney's Chief Executive Officer says, "Vivid Sydney delivers the world’s leading light artists in Vivid Light, cutting-edge musicians in Vivid Music, and creative innovators in Vivid Ideas.

"In 2015 the festival attracted a record 1.7 million attendees, and this year visitors to Vivid Sydney will have longer to experience the wonder of Vivid Sydney, and enjoy our biggest year yet."
