12- to 25-year-old musos to be treated to an afternoon of engagement, education and empowerment

As part of this year's giant Vivid Sydney festival – more specifically, its Vivid Ideas component – young people in the music industry will have a chance to get a leg-up in the business with the eagerly awaited return of the Feedback music conference.

Presented in partnership with Indent, a MusicNSW body designed to engage, empower and educate young musicians, Feedback will be held at Sydney's Museum of Contemporary Art on Monday, June 9, returning with a never-before-seen format that includes a packed afternoon of industry speakers, interactive sessions, take-home resources and networking opportunities for the 12- to 25-year-old delegates.

The full timetable and speaker list is yet to be released, but if you're a young musician interested in gaining exposure to industry professionals and experts, lessons in success and advice on navigating the tumultuous modern music environment, it would behove you to save the date and regularly check the Vivid Ideas site for information as it is revealed.

For those outside the age group for which Feedback is designed, don't despair - the wider Vivid Ideas program is chock-full of drawcard events, including an In Conversation appearance with muso du jour Flume and manager Nathan McKay.
