Aussie rockers Violent Soho has debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums chart with their new record, Everything Is A-OK.

It’s the group’s second consecutive #1 in Australia, following on from 2016’s Waco, and makes them the second local act to claim the top spot in as many weeks, with Sydney pop punkers 5 Seconds Of Summer debuting at #1 last weekend.

Ahead of the release of Everything Is A-OK (The Music’s Album Of The Week), guitarist James Tidswell joined The Green Room Podcast with Neil Griffiths to talk all about the record; check it out below.

“Congratulations to James, Luke, Luke, Michael and the entire Violent Soho team on their return to #1 on the ARIA Charts," ARIA CEO Dan Rosen said.

"Everything Is A-OK is the album title we all need to believe in right now. It’s an incredible achievement to reach #1, especially by a band who is known for their hard work on the road, and direct connection to their fans."
