EXCLUSIVE: Estee Laments The Ageing Process In Her New Vid For 'Twenty Eight'

"This video was just a fun way of introducing myself as an artist, and as a person."

Borneo-born, Australia-raised, Filipino-Chinese singer songwriter estee has burst onto the scene with her powerful new indie pop track, Twenty Eight.

The moniker of Adelaide-based artist Estee Evangeline, estee transcends her 19 years with the new track all about love, loving love, and wanting it to last forever.

"This video was just a fun way of introducing myself as an artist, and as a person, to people who may not have heard of me yet!" the singer explains.

"I wanted it to represent the nostalgic, wholesome feeling of warmth and comfort that 'twenty eight' gives. I really think it shows my personality and definitely creates a really light-hearted atmosphere for listeners everywhere!"

Evangeline continued, “as for lyrics, I’ve always been someone who loves watching the sunset, and this song is totally centred around that image and setting. In high school, I used to go to lookouts with my friends all the time. We’d get frozen cokes, sit in the car, laugh and talk while watching the sun go down and that’s a really sweet memory of mine, and I tried my best to capture that feeling in this song."
