Entertainment Venues - Metro
When an entertainment or leisure facility hosts an activity which fulfils the definition of a public event, the Restricted Activity Directions allow for organisers to apply for their activity to be considered under the Public Events Framework (PEF).

- Outdoor seated entertainment:
- Fully vaccinated: Lesser of 25% or 5000 per venue. Indoor spaces density quotient of one person per 4 square metres and 150 cap.
- Fully vaccinated: Lesser of 25% or 5000 per venue. Indoor spaces density quotient of one person per 4 square metres and 150 cap.
- Outdoor non-seated entertainment (for example animal facilities):
- Fully vaccinated: 50% capacity, indoor spaces density quotient of one person per 4 square metres, 150 cap.
- NOTE: It remains unclear if this includes outdoor music events at this stage.
- Significant venues to be considered for larger crowds.

Entertainment Venues - Regional

- Outdoor seated/non-seated entertainment: cap at 300 people per space or 25% venue capacity, whichever is lesser

The Victorian State Government has responded to calls of concern from industry around the restrictions at a press conference today with ABC reporting that Arts Minister Danny Pearson is set to meet with industry leaders "and talk through all the issues that are important to them".
Additionally, Premier Andrews has said that, "We are the live music capital of our nation and they're very much front of mind when it comes to opening up".
