"When I was writing this song I had a vision of the video already."
Vera Blue shares the clip for her latest single The Way That You Love Me today.
"When I was writing this song I had a vision of the video already, wanting a really strong, tough and dark video that incorporated lots of dancers," shared Vera Blue, real name Celia Pavey.
"I grew up dancing so it was really nice to be able to express the feelings of this song with beautiful strong dancers and push my own boundaries a little. I loved working with so many different characters and personas in this video."
The clip sees Pavey work with director Benn Jae, who's previously worked with the likes of The Veronicas, Jessica Mauboy and Boy & Bear.
"When hearing the song, I immediately felt it had a nod to Madonna’s earlier work, and was instantly inspired to explore the early 90’s genre clips, but with a millennium edge," said Jae of the clip.
Pavey will be performing at this year's Snowtunes Festival at the end of August, with her headline tour kicking off at The Cube in Wodonga on Saturday 31 August. Head to theGuide for all the info on dates, venues and tickets, and check out The Way That You Love Me below.
