Vera BlueVera Blue is unstoppable, with the Sydney artist today unveiling not only a brand new single, but also a full live album and a new video.
The new studio cut from the singer-songwriter, All The Pretty Girls, was written in LA with Chelsea Lena (Chromeo, Sabrina Carpenter) and Steve Solomon (James Arthur, Christina Perry) and sees Vera Blue take a bold new approach to her lyrics and vocal melodies.
“It’s basically just a little playful song that is also empowering. I feel really excited about it and I just can't wait to play it live,” she said.
“I feel like a lot of people can probably connect to it because it's kind of a self-protection song.”
There’s a reason Vera Blue has become a staple of the Australian live scene in recent years, and her first-ever live album, which is also out today, captures her mesmerising live show.
The 16-track live recording, Lady Powers Live At The Forum, was recorded one year ago today during her sold-out Lady Powers show in Melbourne.
As if that wasn’t enough, Vera Blue will be dropping a new video from the release each week, today also unveiling the live clip for Magazine.
Vera Blue tours Australia from November to March; all the details of which you can find in theGuide.
