Listen To The Brutal New Single From Two Sons Of Slipknot Members

"This song is unforgiving and uncompromising. We are back and better than ever. This is a straight fuck you!”

More Slipknot Slipknot

Vended, the band featuring the sons of Slipknot's Corey Tayor and Shawn 'Clown' Crahan have dropped a new single Ded To Me

A brutal metal track that showcases their familial lineage without sounding like a direct Slipknot copy, Ded To Me features some intense vocal work from Griffin Taylor, who has inherited his father Corey's menacing scream.

Simon Crahan proves himself to be no slouch on the sticks either, providing a thunderous percussive backdrop over which the rest of Vended lose their minds. The double-kick work in the back half of the song is particularly impressive.

Violent riffage and vicious vocals abound, while the band's statement, released with Ded To Me hints that Griffin may also have inherited a little bit of his old man's infamous 'fuck you attitude'.

"This song is non-forgiving and uncompromising, we're back and better than ever. This is a straight fuck you."

Ded To Me follows Vended's debut EP What Is It//Kill It which was released in November of last year.

The release of What Is It/Kill It followed the  band's appearance at Knotfest last September.  You can watch them performing the song Asylum at the event below.

Vended have since been on their own tour, playing smaller rooms, while also continuing to step up to support their famous fathers' band at festivals. They are currently on tour in Europe with Slipknot and the Ukrainian metal band Jinjer who are performing after securing permission to travel abroad during a time of war as ambassadors of their country.

According to Corey Taylor, Slipknot are gearing up to release new music of their own, with an album release anticipated to land this year. Last year they released the single The Chapeltown Rag.
