Playing a show in Ohio in the US, Corey Taylor, front-man for Slipknot told the crowd that "Goddammit, I promise you, you will have new f**king Slipknot music very f**king soon."

In a big HELL YEAH moment, Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has said during a music break at a Knotfest Roadshow gig in Ohio that their new music is imminent.

He said that "Now, we don’t have an exact date on it, but I’m here to tell you, you’re not gonna be waiting very, very fucking long. Goddammit, I promise you, you will have new fucking Slipknot music very fucking soon.” 

Big hell yes please! They then asked if the crowd wanted a taste of the new record and began playing The Chapeltown Rag, which is not new per se, but will be on the record.
