Exclusive: Velociraptor Sign Record Deal With Create/Control

Twelve-piece Brisbane wunderkinds Velociraptor have signed a record deal with Create/Control, theMusic.com.au can reveal today.

Create/Control, the new imprint of Dew Process which is being spearheaded by Paul Piticco, recently determined as two on the AMID Power 50 list, have signed The Smahing Pumpkins, Metric, OPOSSOM and The Jungle Giants since launching earlier this year.

Velociraptor, a Brisbane collective featuting members of DZ Deathrays amongst others and fronted by Jeremy Neale, were one of the most in-demand acts at last year's BIGSOUND showcase and have had a solid year of writing and performing (whenever they can get their members into the same room).

Following on from the single Cynthia, new single Riot will air on triple j this Sunday.
