“Some of the band’s favourite memories are from our three Australian tours."
The Hold Steady will return to Australia for the first time in almost a decade next year, performing two huge shows in Melbourne on their Boys And Girls Down Under tour.
The exclusive performances will take place at The Croxton Bandroom in May, with the US outfit set to perform their iconic third album, Boys And Girls In America, in full on one night, before playing its follow-up, Stay Positive, in full the following night.
“Some of the band’s favourite memories are from our three Australian tours, and we’re excited to share old and new music with the fans down there,” frontman Craig Finn said.
“It will be our first Australian shows with the current six-piece line-up, which is the best THS yet.”
Both shows will also feature fan favourites and you can find out more details via theGuide.
