New US Rockers Highly Suspect Debut New Album Early 2016

More Highly Suspect More Highly Suspect

American outfit Highly Suspect have been captivating home crowds since 2009, the trio consisting of Cape Cod native twins Rich and Ryan Meyer with Johnny Stevens, who together have released a string of EPs and played over 800 shows, even sharing stages with the likes of Deftones and Faith No More.

Highly Suspect are celebrating their debut, Grammy-nominated album Mister Asylum, released in November and produced by Joel Hamilton, whose resume includes work for Black Keys, Tom Waits and Elvis Costello. Singles Lydia and Bloodfeather have yielded the act’s most acclaim from Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly and Billboard icons.

The album, debuting at #22 on the Billboard 200, has risen to become one of the top three-biggest-selling albums by a new rock starter, and Highly Suspect are ready and set to pump it out loud before an whirlwind run of dates across the east coast in 2016.

First up on Highly Suspect's trio of dates is The Brightside, in Brisbane (15 March), then Evelyn Hotel, Melbourne (16 March), and finishing at Sydney's Factory Floor on 17 March.

Tickets for all shows go on sale at midday this Thursday, 17 December, via Live Nation. Telstra Thanks will hold a 48-hour pre-sale set for customers from 9am tomorrow, 15 December, until 9am 17 December.
