Close your eyes and let the warmth consume you
Rising Los Angelean outfit Allah-Las are following up their lauded self-titled debut full-length with the oh-so-Californian sounds of Worship The Sun, which is slated to drop officially this September.
Drawing upon the production talents of Innovative Leisure labelmate Nick Waterhouse, brand-spankin'-new tune 501-415 finds Allah-Las in fine fusion-filled form as sonic influences from garage rock to Latin percussion and electro-folk swirl around in a cohesive cloud of retro, sun-drenched daydream.
Allah-Las have enjoyed a steady rise to prominence since first coming together in 2008, releasing their first 7” single, Catamaran/Long Journey in 2011 before following that with their aforementioned debut in 2012, which was released hot on the heels of their then-newly established relationship with the fine folks at Innovative Leisure (which also hosts Badbadnotgood, Feeding People, Lazer Sword, Mexicans With Guns).
