They appeared on the massive bill yesterday, despite not agreeing to play
Normally your band’s name appearing on the epic Coachella bill is ground for celebration, but for New York hardcore outfit Show Me The Body, their reaction to being announced alongside Radiohead, Beyoncé and more was a little different.
The highly anticipated line-up for the Indio, California mega-festival dropped yesterday, with Show Me The Body slated to perform on April 16 and 23 with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Lorde and Future Islands, but they took to Twitter to claim they never actually agreed to play.
“UPDATE: We never agreed to play Coachella. We were offered but we said no,” the tweet read.
“Hopefully @goldenvoice and @coachella will not exploit our name. OR GIVE US ALL THE MONEY.”

The festival is yet to respond to the claims.
The 2017 Coachella line-up features a number of A-grade Aussie acts, with Empire Of The Sun, Jagwar Ma, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, The Avalanches, What So Not, Pond and Anna Lunoe all confirmed.
