The second round of speakers for the forthcoming Face The Music conference have been revealed today, with UK radio and television presenter Jen Long leading the names.
Long is known for her tenure with BBC, hosting BBC Radio 1 and presenting for TV network BBC Three. Her knack for helping with the discovery of emerging music talent has also seen Long go on to own her own music label, Kissability (through Transgressive) and the label’s first signing was Aussie fellas DZ Deathrays.
Other names to be confirmed today for FTM include musicians Helen Croome and Evelyn Morris – better known as Gossling and Pikelet respectively, as well as Meredith Music Festival publicist Ange Henley and Rhett McLaren of The Hills Are Alive and Unified.
The second round of artists follows on from the previous announce, which was headlined by cult punk icon Steve Albini and local veterans Daddy Cool.
