UK Comedian Jimmy Carr Announces 2016 Aussie Tour Dates

Incendiary British comedian Jimmy Carr has announced a run of tour dates around the country this January as part of his travels in support of new show Funny Business.

The veteran funnyman, QI guest and 8 Out Of 10 Cats host — among other pastimes — will kick things off in Brisbane, at City Hall, on Thursday 14 January, moving on to tickle ribs in Canberra (17 January), Sydney (18 January), Newcastle (24 January), Melbourne (25 January), Geelong (29 January) and Adelaide (30 January) before flying across the country to wrap it all up at Perth's Riverside Theatre on Wednesday 3 February.

Carr's career continues to move from strength to strength, with the controversial, award-winning comedian not only holding down the fort on 8 Out Of 10 Cats but routinely invading UK TV screens as the host of 10 O'Clock Live as well as being tapped for special episodes of Big Fat Quiz and 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown. But it's in the stand-up arena where he truly shines, as Aussies will have the opportunity to discover for themselves in a matter of months.
