The Melbourne band are on the up and up in the US.
Much loved Melbourne indie band Twerps have hit another enormous milestone this week, with their eponymous debut record, released in Australia in October last year, cracking the Top 20 of the hugely influential and well respected CMJ College Radio Charts.
The band were sitting at number 27 last week, their third week in the chart, but have made it up to the number 20 spot for their fourth week. This coincides with the announcement that the band are playing the annual CMJ Music Conference in New York City later this year, in amongst their commitments with Brisbane Festival, Meredith and Sound Summit. Earlier in the week the band also appeared in the pointy section of The Hype Machine charts, their new track He's In Stock sitting in third spot at one stage.
