Aussie music got more than its fair share of airtime over the weekend, with the free-to-air stations giving plenty of coverage to the music-related content.

Much-loved ABC staple Spicks & Specks remained in the ratings chart this week (575,000), jumping up in viewers since last week’s episode (487,000 on Sunday 30 May), according to figures from TV Tonight. The episode featured guests Mitch Tembo, Kate Cebrano and more.

The series has been going steady since its return earlier this year, remaining in the top ten consistently throughout its run. The current limited-series run is set to conclude in two weeks after a ten-episode run.

Tambo was all over TV’s this weekend, also appearing on SBS’s Australia’s Biggest Singalong! on Saturday. The live event brought together viewers from all over the country to belt out some classic Aussie tunes with some massive names is Aus music. The show also featured Dami Im, Mark Seymour, and hosts Julia Zemiro and Miranda Tapsell.
