TV On The Radio Announce Vivid LIVE Headline Sideshows

The esteemed indie rockers will play a standalone show each in Melbourne and Brisbane

Veteran Brooklyn-bred indie rock outfit TV On The Radio have announced that they will expand their Australian sojourn when they're in the country for Sydney's Vivid LIVE festivities with a pair of standalone headline shows in Brisbane and Melbourne this June.

The Seeds scribes will hit the Queensland capital to play The Tivoli on Wednesday, June 10, and head down Victoria-ways to perform at The Forum a couple of days later, on Friday, June 12.

Tickets for both shows will go on sale from 10am next Friday, 17 April, with My Live Nation members able to take first run at passes during an exclusive pre-sale that kicks off from midday next Wednesday, 15 April, running through till 5pm the next day (or until allocation is exhausted).

The band's most recent release was last year's acclaimed full-length Seeds, their first output since the death of long-time bassist Gerard Smith, who passed away in 2011 from lung cancer, aged 36.
