1973 album Tubular Bells to be recreated live by two Australian musicians.
Tubular Bells For Two is set to tour Australia with a string of dates announced for February-May next year. You’ll be able to catch the multi-award winning performance in South Australia, New South Wales, Queensland and the ACT.
Mike Oldfield released his debut record Tubular Bells in 1973, an album that became the soundtrack to Oscar-winning film, The Exorcist (released the same year). Since then, Tubular Bells has sold over 30 million copies.
The original album was recorded using 1970’s multi-track recording technology, which allowed Oldfield to play a range of instruments, recording each part individually.
