He shot to the top of the Australian ARIA Charts and beat out UK heavyweights Iron Maiden to claim #1 last week and now 20-year-old singer Troye Sivan's new EP Wild has made an insanely impressive debut in the US.

Sivan's EP landed comfortably in the top ten of the US Billboard Albums Chart by clinching #5 on its very first week, the exact same position it scored on the UK Charts last week.

Ironically the Perth-raised artist placed one position behind Iron Maiden who came in at #4, while US rapper Travis Scott took out #3 with RodeoFive Finger Death Punch's Got Your Six debuted at #2 and Canadian singer The Weeknd retained top spot with his third studio album, Beauty Behind The Madness.

Elsewhere, Perth outfit Tame Impala's latest offering Currents has remained in the Top 200 list since its debut in July, coming in at #103, up two spots from last week's placing of #105, while 5 Seconds Of Summer's self-titled record finished three places higher from last week, coming in at #108.
