Trophy Eyes Announce 'Chemical Miracle' Tenth Anniversary Australian Tour & Vinyl

Newcastle punk rockers Trophy Eyes are celebrating the tenth anniversary of their beloved second album, Chemical Miracle, today announcing a tour and new vinyl edition to honour the milestone.

Originally released in October 2016 via Hopeless Records, Chemical Miracle is home to singles including Chlorine and Breathe You In – to date, still some of the band’s most popular songs. The album received rave reviews upon its release and debuted at #8 on the ARIA Albums Chart.

Chemical Miracle marked a defining moment for Trophy Eyes, establishing the Newcastle upstarts as one of Australia’s most exciting new bands. The record blends soaring melodies, raw punk energy, and deeply personal songwriting – heard again throughout their catalogue, welcoming new fans.

Now, the band is celebrating the album that helped change the trajectory of their career.

The tour begins at Melbourne’s The Croxton Bandroom on Friday, 9 October. It continues at Adelaide’s The Gov on Saturday, 17 October, Sydney’s The Metro on Friday, 13 November, and concludes at Brisbane’s The Triffid on Saturday, 14 November. In addition to the tour, Trophy Eyes and Hopeless Records are commemorating the tenth anniversary of Chemical Miracle with a new vinyl release and deluxe digital edition, dropping on Friday, 13 November. You can pre-order/pre-save the album here.

Ten years. It’s difficult to put into words what Chemical Miracle has come to mean to us. When we wrote it, we were just trying to make sense of where we were in our lives. We never imagined those songs would find a place in so many other people’s stories too.

To mark the anniversary, we’re releasing a special Chemical Miracle 10-Year Anniversary Edition record on 13th November - a chance to revisit some of your favourite songs, as you’ve never heard before.

We’ll be celebrating with a handful of Australian shows, playing the album from beginning to end. As a thank you, an exclusive vinyl variant will be available ahead of its release at these shows.
