Melbourne community-radio station Triple R will hold its 10-day-long subscription drive, Radiothon, in August to help bolster its support network for another year.
The station will hold the event from 11-20 August in an effort to re-up on donations and subscriptions, both of which help keep the lights on and the entertainment floating over the airwaves.
This year's Radiothon sports a B-grade-horror theme (although, as you can see, their costumes are A+), and are offering anyone who subscribes during the Radiothon — and pays up by 20 September — the chance at going in the running for a bunch of (yet to be revealed) prizes.
Subscription options start from $40 for concessions, with full subscriptions, plus those for bands, artists and DJs costing $75, a 'passionate' sub for $125, and business subscriptions for $150.
