Just one day after triple j revealed its 50 most-played artists of the year, triple j Unearthed is doing the same.
The platform for emerging artists to get their music heard on the radio, be reviewed by triple j staff, music journalists, and fans alike, find a community of fellow up-and-coming creatives, and the opportunity to play at festivals such as Laneway, Spilt Milk, and more, there’s a lot of love for Unearthed for music fans. Even better, Unearthed exclusively spotlights Australian talent.
This afternoon, the team at Unearthed is revealing the station’s most-played artists of 2025, rounding up 50 solo acts and bands from across the country.
From Dean Brady to ixaras, Selve to Larissa Lambert, Rum Jungle to Secret World, Lyric, Mariae Cassandra, and others, Unearthed spins plenty of rock, R&B, soul, pop, and indie music, all from towns and cities across Australia.
