Triple J Unearthed Announces BIGSOUND 2019 Comp Winners

Introducing...

Brisbane artists Hallie and Semantics will showcase at BIGSOUND this September after being crowned triple j Unearthed’s 2019 competition winners.

The local acts will open the triple j Unearthed stage at this year’s festival, before Adrian Eagle, Fergus James, Tones & I and more perform.

The announcement follows the release of Hallie’s acclaimed single Nice Like Rice, while Semantics are riding a wave of hype off the back of triple j-backed cuts Talk To Me and Maximillian.

Last week, BIGSOUND revealed its mammoth full artist program.

BIGSOUND 2019 takes place in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley from 3-6 September. Tickets for this year's conference and festival are on sale now, head to the BIGSOUND website for all the info.
