After rolling out an epic first artist line-up last month, BIGSOUND is back today to confirm a huge second artist announcement alongside its list of official venues.

That brings the total number of acts up to 145 as Australia's best new talent make the BIGSOUND pilgrimage for a massive four nights of live music across 18 stages this September.

Leading the list on the second announce include Mojo Juju (also previously announced as a keynote speaker), These New South Whales, Adrian Eagle, imbi the girl, Cry Club, Nancie Schipper, Jaguar Jonze and a whole lot more. You can have a look at the full list of artists on the second announcement below.

BIGSOUND has also revealed the final list of the 18 official venues that will host the impressive list of artists so you can begin to map out your search for the best new music. There's all the usual faves with Black Bear Lodge, Heya Bar, The Zoo, The Brightside, Crowbar, The Valley Drive In, The Elephant Hotel and Ric's but this year will also see X-Cargo Social Hub and newly opened venue The Outpost join the mix. Check out the full list of venues below.

The second line-up announcement comes just weeks after BIGSOUND revealed their keynote speaker announcement which includes Best Coast’s Bethany Cosentino, Revenge Of The She-Punks author Vivien Goldman, Frontier Touring’s Sahara Herald and Australian artist Mojo Juju.

The four keynote speakers join an already huge speaker line-up, with Nettwerk Music Group CEO and co-founder Terry McBride confirmed as part of the first announcement in May alongside Radio 1 & BBC Music Introducing's Abbie McCarthy, Sub Pop Records' Bekah Zietz Flynn, Mom + Pop Music's Suzanna Slavin and more.

It was also revealed in April that BIGSOUND would now be based out of the Cloudland venue, moving away from its usual home of the Judith Wright Centre, for the first time.

BIGSOUND 2019 takes place in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley from 3-6 September. Tickets for this year's conference and festival are on sale now, head to the BIGSOUND website for all the info.
