Triple J Host KLP Inks Deal With EMI

Multi-faceted Sydney-based muso and triple j host KLP has penned a deal with EMI Music Australia, announcing the news ahead of her showcase at BIGSOUND tonight.

The singer-songwriter and DJ, real name Kristy Lee Peters, joins a roster that includes all-conquering boy band 5 Seconds Of Summer, rock favourites Birds Of Tokyo, controversial rapper 360 and brother/sister duo Angus & Julia Stone.

The news continues on what has been a big year for Peters, including her appointment as Nina Las Vegas' replacement as host of triple j's House Party program.

After BIGSOUND, Peters will soon venture over to the US where she will play a handful of shows, including an appearance at CMJ Music Marathon.

KLP is managed by Jesse Flavell of Sum Management and booked locally by Select Music.
