Transistors Gearing Up To Release Second Album

New Zealand outfit Transistors are getting ready to release their sophomore album Is This Anything?

While no official date has been confirmed for an Australian release as yet, the band will drop the LP in their homeland on Friday 2 August - so we're hoping this means we won't be too far behind.

The power-pop trio, who recently embarked on a run of US shows with Japanese garage rockers Guitar Wolf, were one of our big picks from 2012's BIGSOUND conference. Their EP Flux Pentaphile dropped last year as well. Here's their clip for the track Dirty Diver, just for kicks.
