...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead Announce Tour

The critically acclaimed indie-rock band …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead have announced that they will be returning to Australia in May.

This tour, which is comprised of four headline capital city shows, will see the band play what is widely accepted as their masterpiece, 2002's Source Tags & Codes, in its entirety followed by a selection from the band's extensive back catalog. In addition to being formidable in the studio, they have a reputation for a particularly intense and destructive live show.

Almost twenty years into their existence, Trail Of Dead have refined a unique sound that flirts equally with the DIY ethic of indie-rock, the noisy catharsis of hardcore and the ornate songwriting of classic album-oriented progressive rock.

Source Tags & Codes is arguably their best expression of their trademark style and is seen as one of the seminal alternative rock albums of the '00s. It has earned extensive critical acclaim, with Rolling Stone deeming it “one of indie rock's truly epic albums” and Pitchfork awarding it one of their coveted 10/10 ratings upon its release.
