Tones & I’s reign on the Aussie charts continued this week, with the Byron Bay-based singer-songwriter holding onto #1 on the Singles chart with Dance Monkey.

However, the local act – who made her highly-anticipated BIGSOUND debut on Wednesday night – wasn't able to beat music legends Tool on the Albums chart, whose first LP in thirteen years, Fear Inoculum, debuted at #1.

Few BIGSOUND acts have had such a specular rise into the spotlight in the lead up to their showcase, with Tones & I now holding onto #1 on the ARIA Singles chart for six weeks with Dance Monkey, and her debut EP The Kids Are Coming debuting at #3 on the Albums chart.

The Music were flown to LA recently to speak to Tool's Maynard James Keenan, Danny Carey, Adam Jones and Justin Chancellor ahead of the album's release. Check out the conversation here.

Meanwhile, G Flip has debuted on the Albums Chart at #6 with About Us, as Montaigne’s Complex (#19), DZ DeathraysPositive Rising: Part 1 (#21) and Ash Grunwald’s Mojo (#40) also debut.
