'Dance Monkey' gets bigger and bigger.

Tones & I has scored herself a second week at the top of the UK charts with Dance Monkey.

According to the Official Charts, the hit from the Aussie songwriter (real name Toni Watson) has held US rapper Travis Scott and his track Highest In The Room at #2 on debut.

Additionally, Watson is now tied with Rihanna for the title of longest-reigning #1 by a female lead artist in eight years on the Irish Charts with seven weeks in the top spot. Rihanna claimed the spot in 2011 with her collab with Calvis Harris, We Found Love.

This week has seen Watson score a whopping eight ARIA Award nominations, which includes Best Female Artist, Breakthrough Artist, Best Pop Release and Best Independent Release.

Dance Monkey has now topped the Australian ARIA Charts for 10 weeks, giving Watson the longest streak at #1 on the ARIA Singles chart for an Australian artist. She is now on track to become the longest-running solo female artist at #1, a record shared by Whitney Houston and Sandi Thom, both of whom had ten-week runs at the top.

The Music recently spoke with Watson who shared that not even she expected Dance Monkey to take off the way it has.

"I honestly thought that when it reached ten on the ARIA Chart it would decline," she said. "I never thought this would happen!"
