Dance For Me, YouTube: Tones & I's 'Dance Monkey' Cracks One Billion Views

Tones & I has reached another huge milestone - the Melbourne artist has now hit 1 billion views on YouTube on her track Dance Monkey. 

In the time since the video was uploaded in June last year, the video has spent over 20 weeks in the #1 slot on YouTube’s Global Top Songs chart, as well as hitting the YouTube Top Songs chart in over 50 countries and territories. 

"I can’t believe Dance Monkey has hit 1 billion views!" said Tones & I of the achievement. 

"I had so much fun making this video. Thank you to everyone for watching."

In the past 12 months, Tones & I has pulled in 2.59 billion views across her videos - which includes 182 million views from the US, 175 million views from Indonesia, 168 million views in Mexico, 155 million views in Brazil and 128 million views in France - and amassed 3.2 million subscribers to her channel. 

Tones & I is also among the 25 most viewed artists on the video platform for 2020 so far.
