Tone Loc Nearly Collapses On Stage In US Ahead Of Aussie Tour Dates

Veteran rapper Tone Loc had to be escorted off stage during a show in the US over the weekend after he nearly fainted mid-song. 

According to TMZ, the 50-year-old was in the middle of performing his 1988 hit track, Wild Thing, in South Dakota when the scare occurred. 

Footage of the incident shows Loc slowly moving to the side of the stage where he was then assisted to the back by others on stage. 

A representative told TMZ that the incident was unexpected and after taking a minute backstage, Loc was able to finish the set.

This is not the first time the LA-born artist has had on-stage scares either, having collapsed mid-show on at least three other occasions in the past five years.

Loc is currently performing throughout the country in support of the I Love '90s tour, which is set to hit Australia in January.
