“I got fucking sideways as fuck and got naked and posted pictures of my dick. And usually, I mean I’m a titty man, so I like to see titties, but tonight it’s equal-opportunity night. Tonight I wanna see everyone’s dick. C’mon, pull your shit out. Pull your fucking junk out. Let’s go.”
Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee has provided an explanation for why he posted a dick pic on Instagram.
Lee reportedly addressed the controversial full-frontal nude selfie (which somehow still remains on Twitter), during Mötley Crüe's show in San Antonio, Texas over the weekend, explaining he was "on a bender" at the time of the post.
"A couple of weeks ago, we had like a two-week break off the tour, and I went on a motherfucking bender, bro — a bender,” Lee said. He then provided further detail and cheekily encouraged fans to replicate his behaviour.

The hair metal icon originally posted the full-frontal nude selfie to Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, with the cheeky caption of "Oooooppppsss".
The pic remained on display to Tommy Lee's 1.5 million followers on Instagram and Facebook for several hours before eventually being removed by the Meta censors. Incredibly, the picture is still available on Twitter as of writing.
Predictably this mischievous mishap from Tommy and his member, sent the internet wild. Adding to the viral nature of the post, the infamously well-endowed muso has shown no remorse for the post but is instead doubling down on his actions, continuing to poke fun at the incident and court notoriety by making several phallic references across his social media.

One of those references, a meme depicting a naked man looking at an elephant's trunk with the caption “How do you breathe through that little thing?” can be seen below.
All of this is pretty in character for the notoriously wild Lee, who has seemingly always enjoyed flaunting his girth in public, with scant regard for the repercussions. The recent biopic Pam & Tommy focussed on the chaotic marriage of Lee and Pamela Anderson, featuring a scene where Lee (played by Sebastian Stan) has an animated conversation with his penis.
Now that the post has been removed from the Meta-owned Facebook and Instagram properties, a global conversation has started about why the picture was able to remain up for so long when considerably less lewd pictures of women are routinely censored within moments. The company has yet to comment.
