Sydney metal upstarts To The Grave have welcomed a new permanent vocalist, with Dane Evans officially joining the band.
“Dane jumped on board originally just to fill-in for the album launch tour. It was an awkward situation as he was promoting a record he wasn’t on and performing songs he didn’t write, but he really stepped up and blew the crowds away at every show, both in terms of his stage presence and vocal ability. We knew after the first show of the tour that he was our guy,” To The Grave’s Matt Clarke explains.
Additionally, the group is already preparing a follow-up to debut studio album, ‘Expect Resistance’.
“We’ve taken all the elements from the album and we’re just working on more, we want these songs to be more brutal, more melodic and more catchy. The writing is still in its early stages but jamming these new riffs out has been great”.
