Tim RogersAs some of SA's best musicians and media personalities prepare to battle at the Adelaide Reclink Community Cup, the live music element for this year’s event has been unveiled, with You Am I’s Tim Rogers signing on to not only perform, but coach during the state’s second effort.
The pre-match warm-up gig – which was undertaken last year by The Beards – at Coopers Stadium, Norwood on Aug 7 will see performances from locals Shaolin Afronauts and Slick Arnold before Rogers puts on a game-face and tries to lead the Rockatoos to victory.
There’ll also be a pre-game gig at The Grace Emily Hotel on Aug 6, which is the home of the Rockatoos (best the players don’t get too messy) featuring Rogers’ Draught Dodgers, West Thebarton Brothel Party, Hana Breneki & The Morning Whisky Waltz, Abbey Howlett and The High Beamers and an after party at The Anchors’ home, The Wheatsheaf Hotel, with a set from Dusty Lee & The Billy Bob’s BBQ Jam Boys.
