More Tim Rogers More Tim Rogers

New ABC label imprint FOUR | FOUR have today announced that legendary Australian singer-songwriter and performer Tim Rogers has joined their roster for his new album Rogers Sings Rogerstein. It has been almost five years since Rogers last released a solo record, with his The Luxury of Hysteria record released through his own label Ruby Q towards the end of 2007.

Since then there have been two You Am I records released and on top of that Rogers has tried his hand at a number of different creative endeavours, including a live show in which he performed songs from his “enigmatic collaborator” Shel Rogerstein. While no details were given by the label, one would hazard a guess, given the album's title, that these will be the songs on the new album. The album is released Friday 24 August.

Rogers embarks on an enormous national tour in support of the record through August, September and October with special guest Catherine Britt, dates of which are below.

So far, FOUR | FOUR has signed local acts Boy In A Box and The Rumjacks, the addition of Rogers bolsters the roster significantly.
