Dropping next month!
Tim Rogers has come out firing in 2017, today announcing release details for brand new album, An Actor Repairs, as well as an accompanying headline tour of Australia.
The songs for the new album, due out on 28 April, were written over a two-year period as an accompaniment to a performance piece the You Am I frontman has worked on, based on an elderly actor retiring from the stage.
Rogers has today dropped the first single from the forthcoming LP, Youth.
"Youth is a song about a character lifting themselves by the elbows out of the well-spring and accepting the waters won't cleanse them of their sins," Rogers said.

"It was written four times, first as a skiffle, then a torch, then a lament, ending as an enthusiasm. Brett Wolfenden commands on drums, Diamond Davey on bass, Xani And Clio as the Grecian Chorus, Rai Preirera on percussion and Shane and I shaking our heads in wonder. If this song came in a dream, knock me out forever."

In support of the record, Rogers will take to the road in April and May for shows in Adelaide, Byron Bay, Brisbane, Wollongong, Perth, Fremantle, Duncraig, Canberra, Newtown, Milton, Geelong, Collingwood, Elsternwick, Yarraville, Hardys Bay, Newcastle and Old Bar.
