Australian Institute of Music Recruits Industry Expert For New Role

The Australian Institute Of Music (AIM) has today announced the recruitment of industry expert Tim Kelly in the newly-created role of Program Director for Arts and Entertainment Management.

Kelly will join the private music school having previously worked as General Manager of Marketing, Asia Pacific at Sony and General Manager of Marketing at Universal Music Australia.

Kelly has also served as Managing Director at local independent label Inertia, Managing Director of Pinnacle Licensed Repertoire and Head of International at UK label, Rough Trade.

“I’m thrilled that Tim Kelly is joining AIM," AIM Chair, Ed St John, said.

"This appointment places us as the first choice of anyone interested in studying for a professional career in the music or entertainment industry.

"Not only is Tim an outstanding educator, he’s also a seasoned music industry executive who knows as much about entertainment management as anyone in the business.
