Tim Freedman faces the Qanda cameras tomorrow night while the US late shows roll out Animal Collective, fun, Tenacious D and more.
Former frontman of The Whitlams, Tim Freedman is to follow in his band's namesake's footsteps and get involved with political debate on tomorrow night's edition of Q&A (9.35pm, Mondays on ABC1).
Freedman will sit on the panel alongside Minister for Sports & Agriculture Kate Lundy and Shadow Attorney General George Brandis.
Also on Monday night, alt.poppers fun perform on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon (11pm, weeknights on Comedy Channel); Alabama Shakes will be Fallon's musical guest on Tuesday's show.
On Friday night, Animal Collective are set to close Late Show With David Letterman (11.30pm, weeknights on Ten) with Gaslight Anthem doing the honours on Thursday.

Friday also finds El-P playing Conan (11.30pmish, Wed-Sat on Gem) and Tenacious D facing off with Jon Stewart on The Daily Show (6.30pm, weeknights on Comedy Channel).
Guest programming rage next Saturday (ABC1) are Dan Sultan and Archie Roach - with Keith Urban slotted in for July 7 and Van She on July 14.
