Socks aren't necessarily the most exciting piece of apparel on the planet, but the folks at Stance have made it their mission to change that perception, with the latest designs in their Anthem Legends series featuring Michael Jackson as he appeared in his iconic video for Thriller.
The three designs — his unmistakeable red jacket, zombie-style and lupine-esque (i.e. a werewolf) — feature the company's signature jacquard caricatures and are made on a 200-needle sock construction, meaning they're as comfortable as they are durable.
(Presumably. We're not actually that familiar with the ins and outs of sock-making, we'll be honest.)
The Thriller socks join the line of Anthem Legends releases that Stance has been working on for the past two years, which have previously featured the likes of The Notorious B.I.G, Tupac Shakur, Snoop Dogg, Will Smith (as the Fresh Prince) and Allen Iverson.
The collection will be available locally for $30 this November from a range of vendors including Platypus Shoes, City Beach, Culture Kings and more.
Or, if you positively cannot wait to get your hands (and feet) on these, they're available through Stance's online store for $24.52 a pair or $74.93 for all three (don't forget what postage'll do to that apparent discount, though).
