Arcade Fire, 65daysofstatic, Cut Copy and more

Arcade Fire - Reflektor (EMI)

The hype around this new record from the Canadian indie rockers has been building for a while now, so fans would've been stoked when the full LP was unveiled online earlier this week. At two discs, there is plenty of new and boldly different material here from the BDO headliners.

Cut Copy - Free Your Mind (Modular/Universal)

The Melbourne electronica favourites are back with one simple goal - to free your mind. A slightly altered sound that is set transport you to another world, this record pays homage to the "second summer of love that was fuelled by acid house and rave", according to our reviewer Guido Farnell. You can also stream it now!

Gossling - Harvest Of Gold (Dew Process/Universal)

It has been a long wait for the debut full-length from Helen Croome and has delivered a release more on the ambient-pop side of things as opposed to her folk roots. Harvest Of Gold will get you dancing but the final four tracks will tug at the heartstrings and please the sentimental in you, says Mat Lee.

65daysofstatic - Wild Light (Bird's Robe/MGM)

The instrumental post-rock outfit are back with album number five and maintains what has made their previous work a success, all the while establishing a new, cohesive sound, according to Andrew McDonald. An ecelectic record the band had to make.

Jeremy Neale - In Stranger Times (Create/Control)

Brissy singer-songwriter Jeremy Neale will officially unveil his new EP tomorrow, but we've been streaming the release here on theMusic over the last couple of days. It is filled with '60s rock'n'roll and garage-pop influences, making for another upbeat collection from the indie pop muso.

Minor Alps - Get There (Stop Start/Inertia)

The name Minor Alps might not be that familiar within itself just yet, but the musical minds behind it are acclaimed in their own right. Nada Surf's Matthew Caws and former Blake Babies and Some Girls muso Juliana Hatfield make up this duo, whose debut LP Get There is streaming on theMusic now.
