Babyshambles - Sequel To The Prequel (Parlophone/Warner)

Recent Splendour In The Grass tourists and the always-headline grabbing Babyshambles are back with record number three and it shows shades of the good ol's Britpop days. While the direction of Sequel To The Prequel may put off some of hardcore Babyshambles fans, this is a solid collection.

Nine Inch Nails - Hesitation Marks (Polydor/Universal)

The hype train is over and the new NIN album is here. As the norm with Trent Reznor, he demands you to take the complete journey of the album with him. Hesitation Marks is depraved but accessible, menacing and polarising. A must listen, from start to finish.

The Paper Kites - States (Wonderlick/Sony)

Our ears have finally been blessed with the debut LP from the Melbourne folk outfit and it is one beautiful body of work. The band have collaborated with emerging star composer Tim Coghill on a number of the tracks to serve up some very polished and delicate sounds. A stunning first full-length.
