It's that time of the week again. Here's some of what we're expecting to hear tomorrow:

Muse – The 2nd Law (Warner UK)

The world's most bombastic rock band return a record that is more ambitious, diverse and gradiose than ever, featuring nods to dubstep, pop and the vocal debut of bassist Chris Wolstenholme. Is too much ever enough?

Lupe Fiasco – Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album (Atlantic/Universal)

This new swag from the hip-hop heavyweight has stirred the pot with the anti-misogynist single Bitch Bad and features Battle Scars, his collaboration with Guy Sebastian that landed an American Billboard Chart placing.

Grinspoon – Black Rabbits (Universal)

Check out our thoughts on the new direction Grinspoon have taken for their seventh record and a track-by-track breakdown from Phil Jamieson and Pat Davern. The band will be hitting up Big Day Out 2013.

Something for Kate – Leave Your Soul To Science (EMI)

Flying Lotus – Until The Quiet Comes (Warp/Inertia)

The long-awaited followup to Cosmogramma is ready to drop and boasts collabs with Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Erykah Badu and Thundercat. It's already racking up mad buzz, but not everyone is so sold.

Mountain Goats – Transcendental Youth (Merge/Remote Control)

Fourteen albums in and the Mountain Goats are stil going strong. Check out our interview with mastermind John Darnielle from earlier this year.

Collarbones – Die Young (Two Bright Lakes/Remote Control)

The sophomore release from the Australian duo; emotive and gauzy vocal electronica. Check out our review.

Diafrix – Pocket Full of Dreams (Liberation)

New jams from the Melbourne hip-hop two piece. You can stream their new album and catch them at the Queenscliff Music Festival.

Bettye LaVette – Thankful N' Thoughtful (Anti-/Warner)

The longtime soul traveller celebrates half a century in the music game by dropping this record; built on covers from everyone from Gnarls Barkley to Bob Dylan. You can stream some of the tracks here.
