The Church - Further/Deeper (Unorthodox/MGM)

The Aussie veterans already have a whole series of albums under their belt, but continue to push out some killer tracks, even after over 30 years in the business. According to reviewer Ross Clelland, "there are still those cross-currenting guitar textures that are one signature of the band" and as The Music's album of the week, this one definitely deserves a listen.

Cold War Kids - Hold My Home (Downtown/Cerate/Control)

This one appears more of an album purely for the fans, Hold My Home barely manages to stray away from the indie-rock stylings of their past albums with All This Could Be Yours and Drive Desperate being the only tracks showing a different side of the Cold War Kids. "More of the same may sate the indie masses" said reviewer Sevana Ohandjanian, but you can decide for yourself when the album drops tomorrow.

CW Stoneking - Gon' Boogaloo (Caroline/Universal)

Aussie singer-songwriter CW Stoneking is returning with his latest release Gon' Boogaloo, which is his first album in six years. Keeping up with his ol' school bluesy style, Stoneking proves that the genre "will never die" according to reviewer Andrew McDonald, so make sure you grab a copy when the album drops.

Husky - Ruckers Hill (Liberation)

Indie-folk luminaries Husky have upped the ante with their second album Ruckers Hill, which is filled with a whole new array of alternative tunes. "At its best, Ruckers Hill peaks majestically", said The Music's Roshan Clerke so if you liked their debut album, then you'll be in for a treat with this latest release.
