It's fierce and ferocious, Melbourne's own Mantra providing a record packed with a message he had to give. Described as a rap-lord, the MC's Telling Scenes is a compelling addition to his already well-renowned repertoire.

One of New Zealand's hottest exports at the moment, The Naked And Famous deliver a sophomore sound that shows a touch of growth and maturity, building further on their critically-acclaimed, 2010 debut. If you've lived under a rock and are just tuning into these five-piece, you'll be pleased to learn they should be around a while.

Sticking to what he knows and, to be honest, nails, Canada's The Weeknd continues his method of earnest lyricism and unique R&B to develop Kiss Land, an offering that's inherently his. There's a lot of hype and it's totally warranted.
