Pond - Hobo Rocket (Modular)

The WA boys are back with what is possibly their most ambitious album yet. The guys experiment with their '60s psych sound that we love but don't stray too far away from what makes them great. While it only consists of seven tracks, this one is all about quality over quantity.

Horrorshow - King Amongst Many (Elefant Traks)

The rap duo give us a consistent offering with record number three, which has been a few years in the making. Solo is on song with his eloquence as usual and his partner in crime Adit is in crisp form - the pair still complementing each other as well as ever. A welcome return.

The Trouble With Templeton – Rookie (MGM)

This buzz indie band finally dish out their debut record in style. Rookie is riddled with pop gems that to and fro from light to dark, emotional to infectious. We've been streaming the album on theMusic all week, so give it a listen before it officially comes out tomorrow.

The Civil Wars - The Civil Wars (Sensibility/Columbia/Sony)

It's a bit awkward talking about a new album from a duo that aren't really on good terms with each other at the moment. That's the situation The Civil Wars are in right now - kind of ironic given their name. But, hey, we've got some new material from them so we're not going to complain too much.
