Brisbane thrash-rock outfit DZ Deathrays have jumped on the festive season bandwagon and recorded a song for Christmas.

The fellas have covered Lonely This Christmas, a track made famous by English glam rockers Mud in the mid '70s and we're kinda diggin' the new rendition. Take a listen — and you can compare to the original which is also below:

DZ Deathrays are currently on tour in the UK, having already played a number of shows throughout Europe this last month.
