Perth festival adds beatmakers to Dolphin Theatre lineup.
The new Perth based festival This Is Nowhere has just announced the lineup for the Dolphin Theatre section of the event. The event looks to assemble something of a music experience featuring acts and beatmakers from local and international sources.
Headlining the Dolphin Theatre will be Detroit based electro-funk master Jimmy Edgar, who will undoubtedly close out the proceedings with much style and finesse. Also added to the bill is London native Ikonika who is set to unlesh her acclaimed album Contact, Love, Want, Have on the punters in attendance. Her fellow countryman Slugabed, along with Salva and d'Eon will all be heading to This Is Nowhere on their first Australian tour . Rounding out the announcement are local Perth acts James Ireland, {Move} Crew, Rok Riley, Travis Doom and Joe Lettenmaier.
The festival will take place Sunday October 14 across three venues: Somerville Auditorium, the Dolphin Theatre and Lawrence Jackson Court.
